Tags can be used in email templates within the ticket rules. An email template is considered an Action in a Ticket Rule which is what you want to do based on conditions you set. So in the email template you can create a template that you want to send and use tags so the related data to that particular action is filled in automatically. For instance, the TicketID would be different depending on the ticket it is associated with. If you place the {TicketID} tag then it will fill that in automatically with the appropriate ticket ID. There is no need to manually create a template for each and every ticket.
