Asset Types are a simple way to organize your inventory to make it easier to find what you are looking for. It can also be used to help categorize your inventory by the type of equipment it is related to. Your asset types will appear on a column-based list when you are viewing your inventory.
Each type is clickable to see all the assets that are associated with that category.
To add, delete, or rename Asset Types, right-click on the field or folder, select the option you desire, and click enter to save. The same is true for the location section.
