Creating Custom Ticket Fields

A custom field is another way to gather additional information from your user before they submit a ticket. This can be an optional or required field depending on how you set it up.

How to create a custom field #

You can have a total of three custom fields. To create your custom field please do the following

  • Click on Ticket Fields
  • Check the enable checkbox to activate the field.
  • Give your field a title name that will show up in the field as a placeholder.
  • If you would like the field to be a required field before submitting then check the box labeled “required?”
  • Click “Save”
  • You’re Done!
